OPI The Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection - Solitaire, Pussy Galore and Honey Ryder.

Hello lovelies!

I have a review of three gorgeous liquid sand polishes to show you today! They are part of the OPI Bond Girls collection, in commemoration of 50 years of Bond movies!

If you think the term Liquid Sand is familiar, it's because I showed you two beautiful polishes from the same Liquid Sand formula, from the OPI Mariah Carey collection not too long ago. The Bond Girls collection, however, is more about pastels and there are some gorgeous ones on offer, so let's take a look, shall we?

First up, we have Solitaire, a beautiful white polish that tends towards silver, depending on the lighting. It also looks almost translucent in certain lighting. In the photos, it looks like it's not fully opaque on my nails, but that's due to the reflective sparkle particles in the polish.

Next, we have Pussy Galore (I admit, that title makes me snicker a little). Pussy Galore is a pretty pink that can look cool toned in certain lighting but generally tends towards a warm pink! I think this one would suit all colouring quite well. I really loved this polish!

Last but not least, my favourite of the lot, Honey Ryder! I thought Pussy Galore was my favourite until I put this on, and then the golden gorgeousness blew me away!

The liquid sands have amazing wear, I wore Honey Ryder for a whole week without any noticeable tip wear. They go on as a liquid and dry to a finish that resembles fine grained sandpaper. Removal isn't too much grief either, they are a bit harder to remove than a standard polish but certainly easier than glitter polishes!

There you have it, lovelies, which one of these is your favourite? Did you have a favourite Bond Girl from any of the movies?

There are three other shades available in the collection, including Tiffany Case (blue), Vesper (purple) and Jinx (orange/coral). If you're having trouble picking a favourite, there's a mini set available with Pussy Galore, Vesper, Jinx and Solitaire!

You can purchase the OPI Bond Girls Liquid Sand collection at standard OPI stockists like Myer, David Jones Petra Haircare and selected pharmacies (find more information here).

Much love,
MM.

  1. Wow, I'm really liking the texture on these! Do they feel coarse when you touch them or is that just an optical illusion?

  8. I have not been keen on liquid sands as I prefer cream and the old fashion glossy. LOL but they are not as rough as I initially thought after 'copping a feel' on Sunday!

  9. Love the idea of this texture but wondering if it snags on woollens or pantihose? I love Honey Ryder as well... btw, your nails are looking mighty fine gurl!Very jelly :)

I also wanted to ask you lovely,re: nails, I've been using a lot of Poshe fast drying topcoat lately and finding my nail polish is coming off in one peice..have you experienced that? In some ways its great..less fuss to remove..but it doesn't last on my nail as long as it used to. Or perhaps it's the Ulta3 base coat?

    1. Nope, so far so good, wore it with pantyhose! :D

Nope, I haven't had that problem with Poshe, I wish! It would make glitter removal so easy! :D

  12. These look so cool and I'll probably check them out, but I'm not a huge fan of textured nail polish, so every 3 seconds I change my mind whether I like these or not, one moment I do and the next I don't :(
