I got to work today to find my Violet Box waiting on my desk! What I found when I opened it completely blew me away, so I just had to share it straight away! I'm uploading from mobile and having trouble loading the photos properly, so please bear with me and I will edit it tonight when I get home.
VB have changed their boxes, so while they retain the lovely matte black and violet colours, the box itself is a little bit smaller. I know this month's box was slightly delayed while they waited for the Be A Bombshell product to arrive, but it was well worth the wait in my humble opinion!
Here's what I found in this month's box!
Bodyography Oxyplex Loose Complexion Powder in Almond (Mineral Foundation) (full sized)
APIVITA Face Masks 2 Dose Sachet Express Beauty with Orange (full sized)
Savoir Faire Lipgloss in Rapture (full sized)
John Plunkett Cosmeceuticals Super Wrinkle Cream (deluxe sample)
Be A Bombshell Eye Shadow in Money Money (full sized)
On to photos!

So what are my thoughts on this month's box? It's actually one of the best boxes I've seen!
I've been wanting to try Bodyography for a while now, and we all know how much I love mineral foundation, so I'm really keen to see this in my box! Other boxes may receive a pressed powder or finish powder instead. I think Almond might be a teensy bit pale for me, but it's the second last shade in the range (view the shades here) and I think the deepest shade would be too dark, so I will find a way to make it work. Some mineral powders do oxidise and get darker on application so I'm hoping this will be the case! Love the fact that I received a deeper shade that I might actually be able to use.
I'm also really excited to see the Savoir Faire lip gloss; as you can see from the photo above, it's really pigmented! I'd never heard of Be A Bombshell prior to seeing the delay notification on the Violet Box Facebook wall, so I was curious to see what the mono shadow looked like, and oh my, it's absolutely stunning! I've only swatched it on the back of my hand but it was buttery, creamy and shimmery, everything a shadow should be! I'm definitely keen to see more shades!
I'm also delighted to see the APIVITA twin pack masks as I've been meaning to try the range for a while, and anything with orange immediately gets a big thumb's up from me! Love the handy twin pack so I'll be popping it in my bag to take to Bali next week. The John Plunkett wrinkle cream also looks very interesting, as it promises to be an intensive night cream for dry skin. My skin has been on the dry side, lately, so I can't wait to give this a good go!
My verdict? This box blew me away, there are three amazing, full sized products in there which lend fantastic value to the box, but the best part is I'm actually keen to use all the items!
What do you think of this box, lovelies? Would you have been happy to receive it?
