My Top 10 Favourite Nail Art Manicures - A Walk Down Memory Lane.

Hello lovelies!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! I realised today that I’ve been blogging here at The Made Up Maiden for just over 1.5 years, which amounts to quite a lot of manicures, so I thought I’d celebrate by sharing a post on my top ten nail art looks, starting from the most recent and working my way back to when I first started blogging!

#1 – Wish Butterfly Effect Inspired nail art, because black and gold are two shades I’m very much in love with currently (let’s blame The Great Gatsby for that one).

#2 – Butterfly stamping and taping manicure, because I love butterflies and mixing patterns/designs/shades is just so much fun (not to mention a godsend when you can’t decide what shade to wear)!

#3 – Easter 2013 inspired nail art, because, well, I fell in love with the cute bunny and Easter chick.

#4 – Tiger print nails, because every girl needs to walk on the wild side every now and then! Plus, I was really proud of my stamping efforts when it was only my second (or maybe third) time using a stamping kit!

#5 – Valentine’s Day 2013 nails, because they were so simple, yet ended up attracting so many compliments!

#6 – Dripping blood manicure for Halloween 2012, because I love a bit of ‘gore’ every now and then.

#7 – Spiderweb inspired manicure for Halloween 2012, because this is the only time seeing a spider put a smile on my face (or spiderwebs, for that matter). Cute on nail art, terrifying in real life.

#8 – Marc Jacobs Dot perfume inspired manicure, because I’m completely in love with the gorgeous perfume bottle (but then again, I’m in love with all his perfume bottles).

#9 – Saran Wrap nail art, because it’s a nail art tool everyone has in their pantry!

#10 – Valentine’s Day 2012 nails, because it was a simple adaptation to the classic French manicure, yet managed to capture the spirit of the occasion!

I hope you enjoyed my recap post, lovelies, I had quite an enjoyable time strolling down memory lane. The quality of the photos in some of the older posts really made me cringe, but on the positive side, it makes me feel like I've learned a lot since my early blogging days! Onwards and upwards, I say!

Which nail art manicure was your favourite of all of these? Let me know if you fancy a tutorial for any of these!

Much love,
MM.
