My Favourite Makeup Looks.

Hi lovelies!

I hope you're all having an amazing weekend! For a bit of fun, I thought I'd do a recap post of my favourite makeup looks. Things have been so busy lately that I've been relatively tame with my eye makeup; I really miss creating more artsy looks, so I was hoping that looking at previous looks might inspire my creative side!

Here's a soft purple look I created with a cats eye flick at the end. Purple is one of my favourite colours so I can never get enough of wearing it!

Keep reading after the jump!

This look created with red shadow will always remain one of my favourite looks because red isn't a colour that you can wear frequently, but this was surprisingly wearable!

This simple, grey smokey eye (achieved with the help of sticky tape) is a favourite look that I wear quite often as it goes quite well with most outfits.

I also like this Spring inspired eye look because it's perfect for days when I can't decide which colour to go for! My wardrobe mainly consists of black outfits so it's a simple way to inject some colour into my life.

Same reason goes for this orange look, I'm really into an orange phase at the moment and seem to find myself buying lots of orange/coral makeup.

Next up is a look from a Lady Gaga themed look, it's actually one of the most popular posts on my blog, I'm not really sure why!

Here's a look inspired by Twiggy! I was too lazy to apply false lashes to my lower lashline, so I tried to fake it with eyeshadow.

When I think Hollywood Glamour, glamorous waves and red lips are what comes to mind, so that's what I decided to channel for this look.

The Disney inspired look was a fun choice because I chose to channel Maleficient, a 'bad guy' instead of a pretty princess (it's not often that I can get away with taking shadow up to my brows, how could I resist?)!

The Goth inspired look below is a favourite because I love the shadow that's used here, a gorgeous duochrome shade. The dark brows just make everything extra dramatic!

The Pink and Black makeup look is another favourite because its a colour combination I adore. I have lots of pink lipsticks and it's fun to match it to my eyeshadow!

This was my attempt at an Audrey Hepburn inspired look. I tried to keep things looking simple, but classy. It's something you could easily wear to work (perhaps sans falsies).

Last but not least, the Creative Goth look was fun as I could experiment with a look I don't usually wear in real life. I love dark lips but seldom wear them as I don't think it suits me.

Which look is your favourite, lovelies?

I'm feeling quite creative now so stay tuned for a new look coming this way soon!

Much love,
MM.

    1. Thanks! Probably not as I barely have time to keep up with the new tags each week, let alone revisit! :)
