Product Review: ORLY Beautiful Disaster and Sparkling Garbage | ORLY Mash Up Colour Collection.

Hello lovelies!

It's been a while since my last polish post, I have been a bit amiss! To make up for it, I have two beautiful new polishes to show you from the new Orly Mash Up Collection.

Beautiful Disaster (is anyone else singing a Kelly Clarkson song in their head now, or is that just me?) is described as a 'magenta chrome', this has a tendency to shift from a rich magenta to a royal purple, depending on the lighting, so I would have to say that the description is pretty apt. I have to confess to falling in love with it as soon as I saw it (I have a thing for purples), and having it on my nails only reaffirmed my love.

Now do you see why I fell in love with it? I actually got plenty of compliments wearing it, so I clearly wasn't the only one!

On to Sparkling Garbage (with names like these, how could I NOT fall in love?), which is described as a 'saturated green with holographic glitter'. Don't be fooled by the word glitter, it's more of a holographic, as removal is easy-peasy with this one!

Both polishes applied like a dream, and removal was really easy for both, even Sparkling Garbage! Used with a basecoat and topcoat, I got perfect wear for about five days before I took it off (simply because I love changing my polish regularly).

The ORLY Mash Up Colour Collection is available in Australia as of August 2013, which means it's available NOW! Each of the polishes retail at $18.95 for 18 ml, and you can view a list of stockists or purchase online by clicking here.

Which one of these do you like best, lovelies?

Much love,
MM.
x

  1. So perfectly applied too! Both have their place, the green wouldn't go down well in my office, but I'd love it over a weekend!
